What It Does

What Is a Cuff Fusing Interlining Pressing Machine?

A Cuff Fusing Interlining Pressing Machine is an industrial garment finishing machine that bonds fusible interlining to fabric components — shirt cuffs, collars, plackets, jacket fronts and waistbands — using precisely controlled heat, pressure and time.

This process, known as fusing, gives garments their structural shape, stiffness and professional appearance. Fusing gives shape, strength and stability to garments, especially in collars, cuffs, plackets, waistbands and facings — without it, even a well-stitched garment can lose its form after washing or wearing.

Starway Tech's Fully Automatic Cuff Fusing Interlining Pressing Machine is engineered for garment manufacturers who demand consistent bonding quality, high production speed and reliable performance in continuous production.

Cuffs & Collars

Crisp, structured fusing that holds shape through washing and wear.

Plackets & Waistbands

Clean, stable bonding for plackets, flies and belt loops.

Continuous Production

Belt-fed operation for high-volume factory output.

Digital Control

Temperature, pressure and time set and held automatically.

The Process

How Does the Fusing Process Work?

Three parameters must be precisely controlled for a strong, uniform bond — all set digitally and maintained automatically by the machine.

01 · Temperature

Heat activates the thermoplastic resin coating on the fusible interlining, melting it just enough to bond with the fabric. Ranges typically from 120°C to 190°C depending on fabric composition and interlining resin specification.

02 · Pressure

Controlled pressure ensures even penetration of adhesive resin into the fabric fibres. Maintained at 0.3 to 2.0 bar depending on fabric type.

03 · Time

Fabric and interlining are held under heat and pressure for precisely the right duration — too short weakens the bond, too long distorts the fabric.

Quality Control

Why Proper Fusing Matters

When the fusing process is poorly controlled, problems such as delamination, adhesive strike-through, bubbling or surface distortion may occur, affecting later sewing and finished-garment appearance.

For garment exporters, uniform fusing quality is not optional — it is a requirement of international buyers and quality audits.

No Delamination

Precise temperature ensures full adhesive activation.

No Bubbling

Uniform pressure eliminates air pockets.

No Distortion

Controlled heat prevents fabric shrinkage or warping.

No Strike-Through

Correct parameters prevent adhesive bleeding through fabric.
